Beverly Harrison

Beverly is responsible for leading the Patient Support group at Janssen R&D a Johnson & Johnson company and developing strategies to understand and support the needs of patients by working with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, including a special focus on engaging patient advocacy organizations.  She is a research, development, and nonprofit patient advocacy professional with over 20 years of leadership experience integrating team efforts across functions with increasingly high levels of responsibility for impacting the policies and performance of pharmaceutical, CRO and nonprofit organizations. Areas of expertise include patient advocacy, domestic and international operations, business development, sales and marketing management, strategic planning and change management.  She has demonstrated ability to develop unique patient support programs, build innovative teams, and work within highly matrixed organizations to successfully tackle issues.  She is recognized for excellent relationship building skills, the ability to manage change, lead complex initiatives, and think outside of current practices to envision new ways to achieve outstanding results. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Beverly was successful in collaborating with many diverse stakeholders to provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all clinical programs conducted by the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) and the MMRC including Phase I and II studies, a Longitudinal Study in newly diagnosed Multiple Myeloma patients (CoMMpass), and expanded access programs.Before MMRC, Beverly managed global sales and marketing teams at PharmaNet; provided general management leadership for Phase II-IV operations and administrative functions for North and South America staff at MDS Pharma Services; and directed all sales and marketing activities at Premier Research.Beverly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA.
